One of the many principles of the Magna Carta. Not one of the main ones that came in the beginning of the document and had to do with the submission of the King of England to the Holy See. Not even a universal principle, since the carta was written by the nobility and to defend its interests. Nevertheless, a remarkable clause in a 1215 document!
