My Week with Marilyn (2011), based on true events. It's hard to believe a woman had such enormous projection in the pre-information age. Her smile and looks provoked such fascination that everything was tolerated from manipulation to shirking. Were Hollywood not dominated by men would Marilyn be so successful? Who knows?
