Ao ver a corrida dos 100m masculinos com Usain Bolt a obter um novo record mundial (9.69 segundos) enquanto reduzia o ritmo nos ultimos 20 metros celebrando já antes de cortar a meta, vem-me à cabeça o quanto os atletas são pessoas fora de série, e por isso, outliers relativamente a todos nós. Os treinos intensos juntos ao talento inato, resultam em momentos únicos como este, ou como os vários momentos especiais protagonizados por Michael Phelps nestes jogos. E recordo-me de mais um brilhante anúncio, desta vez da nike, com muitas imagens de atletas em momentos especiais e com a música de fundo dos Killers que repete e repete I got soul but I'm not a soldier... podem não ser soldados, mas lutam constantemente contra os seus próprios limites!

O slogan da nike é just do it... de facto, palavras para quê quando se pode passar à acção?
