Eight Days a Week (2016) tells the story of the Beatles touring years from 1962 to 1966... four mad years of meteoric success and continuous touring. The non-stop screaming everywhere they went must have been quite overwhelming for kids of 19 to 22. The movie ends with a 30-min edited version of their concert at Shea Stadium on August 15 of 1965 before an unprecedented audience of 55,600. In the absence of social media, the Beatles were the first band of the masses, which makes their progress nothing short of remarkable.
