The pope's visit to the US just ended. From the live footage of the recent few days I retain:
the historical addresses to the joint session of congress and the UN's general assembly;
his old and tired figure in some occasions
but relaxed and joyful in others;
the interfaith meeting at the 9/11 Memorial Museum;
the dozens of small children handed to policemen and security guards by their parents in the hope of being blessed and kissed by the pope;
the mammoth number of in loco pictures taken by mobile devices;
a notable detail from Philadelphia's Museum of Art;
the tiny Fiat 500 that carried the pope;
his calm countenance on the return (American!) plane
and his waving hand upon departure!
