Flight (2012). The story of a drunk pilot who crash-landed a broken plane and prevented major loss of life. Legal consequences? Plenty, though mostly those could be averted. Personal consequences? Immense. The performance by Denzel Washington? Let's just say it will be tough to choose the best actor in a leading role this year...
