Columbus (2017) shows the unlikely connection of two people with very little in common, yet both in limbo situations of uncertain ending. Different age, background, and income standing, draw stark contrast between duty and willingness that each character approaches very differently. Non trivial choices can potentially affect the rest of their lives, justifying the difficulty of moving forward and the slow pace of the movie, which nevertheless is rather moving.
