Hidden Figures (2016) tells the story of three african-american women working for NASA since the 1950s and breaking gender and race barriers. To even be offered the job, they had to be (so much) better than their peers; to keep it, they had to endure much discrimination and prejudice in silence, much like the well known athletes Jackie Robinson, Jesse Owens and other similar pioneers. These ladies' impact though, lasted way beyond sports.

Elementos Secretos (2016) conta a história de três mulheres afro-americanas que trabalharam para a NASA desde os anos 50 quebrando barreiras de género e raça. Para obterem o emprego, tinham de ser (muito) melhores que os seus colegas; para o manterem tiveram de suportar caladas bastante discriminação e preconceito, tal como os conhecidos atletas Jackie Robinson, Jesse Owens e outros semelhantes pioneiros. O impacto destas mulheres perdurou muito para além do desporto.
