89 years ago in Nashville it was the opening night of the Hillsboro Theatre, a silent movie house on 21st Avenue South in the Hillsboro neighborhood. Today's Belcourt theatre became the Belcourt cinema in 1966, after serving as the home of the CHildren's Threatre of Nashville and the GRand Ole Opry in the 1930s. Greatful to have it just 3 blocks away!
