New York, I Love You (2009) [like Paris, Je T'Aime (2006)] brings ten stories by eleven directors (Fatih Akin and Natalie Portman, among others) glued together not really by love -- it's more a mix of lust, enchantment, inebriation, infatuation, duty, faith, adoration, commitment, and resistance -- but by the city itself. I was touched by the story of the former opera singer (Julie Christie) in a New York city hotel, written by the late Anthony Minghella and directed by Shekhar Kapur.
Apparently the next stops will be Shanghai, Rio, Mumbai, Jerusalem, ...
