On our way to the High Line along the Hudson river, we had splendid views of lower Manhattan with the Liberty Tower as well as Liberty Island,
and across the river in New Jersey, Exchange Place and Hoboken.
We walked the 1.45 miles (2.33 km) of the High Line at night so no pictures. Nevertheless, it's highly recommendable! A remarkable example of the urban repurposing of an obsolete industrial structure into a space for exercise and leisure.
