Black Mass (2015) tells the story of James "Whitey" Bulger whose arrest in 2011 made world news: the number 1 on FBI's most wanted list had finally been caught after 16 years a fugitive. Since 1975 Bulger was an FBI informant in the fight against Boston's Italian mafia, his own rival in that city's crime scene. As such the FBI became a puppet of Bulger's and allowed him to become the most prominent organized crime boss in Boston's history. Today James Bulger is 86 years old and is currently incarcerated in Florida serving two consecutive life terms plus five years.
Indeed a story worthy of a movie. Great acting. Slow pace.
