Coisas que não mudam #202

Thanksgiving marks the start of the holiday shopping season. The Black Friday* deals start early and draw the frantic crowds that line up, often in the cold, for hours before the doors open. Cyber Monday (the Monday after Black Friday) in effect since 2005, seeks to induce online shopping; retailers like Amazon have discounts up to 90% in selected products. Two years ago American Express launched the advertising campaign of Small Business Saturday (the day after Black Friday) to encourage shoppers to buy from local small stores. And this year non-profits and charities got together behind Giving Tuesday (the Tuesday after Black Friday) to stimulate giving back to the community and help those in need.

It's all about spending, but differently.
