Lady Bird (2017) focuses on a rebel teenager the year before she goes to college who "sees the light" only after she leaves the family home. Having never been a revolted teenager I identify very little with the movie. The search of one's potential self however, with its insecurities and fears, is very vivid regardless of rebelliousness. In a sense it is never completely over.
