71 years ago Winston Churchill gave a speech at Westminster College in Foulton Missouri a few months after the end of the second world war when he was awarded an honorary degree by the said teaching institution. For the first time on that speech he used the term iron curtain, which marked the history of the second half of the twentieth century. Here the complete speech and here the audio record.
