I've never been much of a feminist. I believe that all people should work hard to get to any position of power of influence. I don't therefore support quotas or any other type of special treatment for women. I do however, recognize all those women who fought for equal rights. Today is the 94th anniversary of the passing of the 19th amendment to the US constitution giving women the right to vote. Here are some alluding images, as a reminder of the many women who still cannot vote.
Nunca fui feminista. Acredito que todos devem trabalhar arduamente para chegar a posições de poder ou influência. Discordo por isso de quotas ou de qualquer outro tratamento especial para mulheres. Reconheço, no entanto, as mulheres que lutaram pela igualdade de direitos. Hoje celebra-se o 94º aniversário da aprovação da 19ª emenda à constituição americana que deu às mulheres o direito de voto.
