The Cat Returns (2002) tells the story of a girl, a bit lost in her teenagehood, who saves a cat and in return receives a lot of cat favors not all of which pleasant. In this visually beautiful Japanese anime the girl ends up finding herself. The song at the end is quite famous... I knew it before I knew anything about the movie!
