Wagner's Dream (2012) is the documentary behind the scenes of the Metropolitan Opera's most recent production of Wagner's ring series. From the very beginning ideas in 2008 to the last opera (of four, in a total of 16 hours of opera!) in 2012, the spectator is taken through the world of the technical/mechanical details of the machine that are arduously brought to life at the Met's stage in a profoundly artistic outcome. Fantastic!
