Resistance Banker (2018) based on true events tells the story of a banker financing resistance efforts in Nazi occupied Amsterdam between 1942 and 1945. The difficult choices these people had to make in strenuous circumstances for themselves and their families should be known not hidden. Walraven van Hall was Dutch and could have just looked the other way: he had a safe job, a comfortable life, and quite a bit to lose. Yet he chose to help Jews who went into hiding in the Netherlands during the war. It's a tall order but if more people rise to the occasion within their capacity, the world will be a better place.
