Há 864 anos Afonso Henriques reconquistava Lisboa depois de um cerco de quatro meses. A sua estátua no castelo de São Jorge, presente da cidade do Porto, foi inaugurada há 64 anos por ocasião do oitavo centenário.

...No, in general they didn't separate boys from girls. But, I have to say that I remember when, at the age of 8 or 9 (perhaps 10?), they separated boys and girls in the communal showers. There were some holes in the wall and we were all trying to take a peek at the girls shower... we were never interested before when we all showered together, and suddenly they separate us and curiosity came in :D

Foi neste dia #153 (2005)

Faz hoje precisamente seis anos saltava eu em Boston ao som do Vertigo. Fez ontem um ano que eu saltei em Coimbra na 360°. Finalmente, há pouco mais de catorze anos saltei (muito) em Lisboa com Pop. Good times!

Moneyball (2011). With the Redsox off the post-season (in dramatic fashion, as always) and out of the ball parks until April, Moneyball is a good movie to chill and realize how money is indeed a huge player in the ball game... the ironic twist is that economics can change the game... even if just a little bit. It's hard not to be romantic about baseball...
